Carol Morrissey took a photo of her grandson and translated it into his image using only circles. It's all about perspective in Jake. Some quilts you have to stand back from a little farther. So, we shrunk the first picture to give you a better look. (This is a medium sized quilt.)

Star Members can watch Carol in Show 1908: Postcards and Photorealism.

Jake was exhibited at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2017.

What a conquest and what a fabulous result you ended up with. Amazing what ideas come to fruition for people who dare to try.

Thank you for your kind words! And, yes, a talented friend of mine fixed the train!

All I have to do to get a further view is to take off my glasses, and immediately it is as though I have stepped back twenty paces!

Wonderful quilt, and wonderful story.

What a wonderful sentiment 'You can fix it' and to capture it so completely and creatively is fantastic.
