Connie Kincius Grinver's quilt, Wrinkly/Irony, was inspired by an internet posting that defined the word "irony" as the opposite of "wrinkly." Her quilt was an attempt to create the concept in visual form. Her hope was to bring a smile to the viewer. It certainly made us smile.
 

And, if you look closely, you just might see a bit of that Pantone Color of the Year...

Connie's quilt was part of the Art Whimsical category at Houston 2017.

The irony is that the floor in the irony side is wrinkly and on the wrinkly side it is irony!

Well done Connie! I printed off the saying when I saw it; sits framed among my vintage irons collection. Always makes me smile. As does your quilt.
