Ricky had a chance to talk to Yoko Saito, a celebrated Japanese quilt artist who is well-known for her detailed work and unique use of taupe color palettes, while in Houston. Acting as her interpreter was Priscilla Knoble (Show 1505: East Meets West: Season Your Quilts with a Japanese Flavor).

She (Yoko Saito) was so very pleased to be able to attend the Houston shows this year and have her quilts and bags in the exhibition.
Thank you to all of you who love her work!

Thank you Ricky and Priscilla for putting together this interview. I was unable to attend Houston this year, and was so disappointed, as I knew Yoko Saito would be there. I am really happy she was able to come to the show and share her beautiful work with attendees. :-) :-) :-)
