It is with great sadness that TQS reports the passing of Nancy Zieman, longtime host of Sewing with Nancy. She passed away Tuesday morning after a long battle with cancer.

I am so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will be deeply missed. I met Nancy a number of years ago at a sewing/quilting show. It was hero worship. She touched my life in so many ways. I have become a more confident sewing/quilter because of her. RIP dear lady.

It is with deep sadness to hear about Nancy's death. I know at this time she is teaching the angels and those who went before us all her techniques. She was a great lady and philanthopist! Our thoughts and prayers to her family.

Met her first time when she received the 4-H Alumni Award from Winnebago County where she had been a 4-H member as a youth. A very gracious lady

Taking a class taught by Nancy was a great joy. She was fun as she made her presentations to 100 women eager to learn new skills. She addressed her health problems with openness and bravery. I feel like I lost a friend. Thank you to her husband and family for sharing such a wonderful gift.

What a loss to the sewing and quilting community world wide. I learned so much from her many avenues of information over the years. She was a talented creative woman who shared her gifts with joy. My sympathies to all who loved and worked with her. She will and already is greatly missed.
