Pat Bravo over at WeAllSew.com has a cute little project. Make these adorable pouches and give them as gifts or use them to wrap gifts. It's a great project for a beginner and you can get them finished on one evening.

I just attempted to make the pouch #3. These are the problems I found with the instructions.
1. the 1x2.5" pieces need to have a seam allowance added to allow for the center seam.
2. I do not use a Bernina 790 so I don't know what a quilt stitch 1328 is.
3. The finished top is 5x5", the batting and backing are to be cut 3.5x3.5". That does not match?
4. What keeps the flap attached to the button?
Very cute project which I thought would be fun our Grandchildren,s Christmas gift cards. I might try again adjusting the measurements, or maybe not!!

OH my goodness, really cute photo, but non-ending, tedious instructions are not user friendly at all! Why not just suggest using a finished block? These complex instructions are why non-quilters think our passion is difficult!

Cute, but no mention of a button in the supplies or instructions. I guess you just make a loop to hook over a button?
