Yes, this is a regular sewing machine, probably not taken in for cleaning for 5+ years. I see this all the time. It's the only "appliance" in your home that everyone expects to work every time without having it properly maintained.

This also happens if you use canned air. It pushes it to the back! Clean after each project and take to dealer for maintenance ♥️♥️♥️

:D this machine looks like it has been sitting in someones garage for a few years. ...and before that, it was used to fix a few wool jackets, and perhaps some custom draperies were made. Too much fuzz.

Be warned that cat fur can clog your machine. My last cleaning the technician said the fur had jammed a fair amount of my machine.

This is the reason I purchase from a reputable dealer and have my machine cleaned and serviced regularly. Her spa day.

That's absolutely disgusting. Surely that's not a regular sewing machine. I can't imagine any TQS member having such a filthy mess in their quilt studio. :-x
