The conflict in the IOS of the iPad is due to some interference with the closed captioning.

We have temporarily turned off the Closed Captioning so that the tablets should now work. (Let us know if you still can't get the iPads to work. Our test group says it is working now.)

We apologize to our Closed Captioners and want you to know we are working with Vimeo to clear up the conflict.

I watch on an IPad and didn’t have a problem until I installed the latest system update, 11.0.2. Now I can start watching and about half way through the screen goes black.

I have stutters and stops when I am viewing and I am not on an iPad, but a MacBook Pro. Maybe I will try my iPad next time. But does this issue carry over into MacBooks? Just curious. I don't have any problems with any other videos that I view.

We are working with Vimeo to see if this can be solved quickly. We have labored hard for the last almost 4 years to get these shows closed-captione d. We are very anxious to be able to get the captioning back online. We will keep you all updated on the progress.

Perhaps a good compromise would be that the members who are trying to use iPads and find they cannot make it work try using another device so members with hearing loss can go on enjoying the shows. Most people have a computer as well as a tablet whereas the only way for people with hearing loss to enjoy the shows are with close captioning.

Even with hearing aids, I need the close captioning. The video with Bethanne Nemesh, I couldn't understand and am sorry I had to give up on it, although I am sure she had some important information to share. Hopefully this problem for the iPad quilters can be resolved and closed captioning returned. Thanks for your consideration to this problem.

I had an IPad and I had no problem to watch the show with caption. I had problem one month ago and i don’t know what I did but it was working since then. But now, i am not happy because I need the caption. I will miss a lot of things in the show.

Thanks. All this time I thought it was my iPad and I was not able to watch the shows on my iPad. Very happy to be able to be back on line.
