This is a beautiful quilt; looks like a lot of bling when I see the quilt. Lovely workmanship and so precise.

Truly and amazing result of time and patience. I have been making 18 piece hexagon blocks using 1" hexies. Each block takes me 1 1/2 hrs to complete. I have 36 blocks now.
Imagine the time putin to just the hexagons in this quilt!
I'd be dead before I finished!

WONDERFUL!! Amazing quilt! Coops60, I'm also relatively new to quilting.....bu t the best advice someone gave me was give yourself permission to make mistakes. There's no right or wrong way unless you're submitting your work to be judged at a show which I'll probably never do. I can look at these prize winning quilts though to get ideas about color, thinking outside the box, etc just relax and enjoy the process.
