Libby Lehman's Exhibit, "Joy" at the National Quilt Museum

One of the true quilting masters, the spatial illusions in Libby's quilts have intrigued and delighted audiences around the world. The National Quilt Museum has 16 of her amazing quilts in this once-in-a-lifetime must-see exhibit. It runs from July 14 - October 17, 2017 in Paducah.

I had the absolute joy to take a class, actually 3 days o classes, from this lovely, gracious, awesome quilter. Has been and still is my most wonderful quilt class experience.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Museum 3 weeks ago and saw this exhibit first hand. It was amazing. The museum itself is wonderful. The quilts are displayed beautifully and you can get up close to them to check out every detail. If you haven't been to the National Quilt Museum, put it on your bucket list. Worth it.

No matter how much talent a modern day artist puts into their paintings they cannot compare with the effort and immagination that has gone into these marvelous quilts.

Lobby's gorgeous quilts have amazed me since I attended a seminar with Libby, Ricky and Alex in Mesa Arizona eight years ago. I am so glad to see this collection and congratulate Libby again.
