We Love the Quilting on this Quilt by Teresa Pino and Pat Lang

Sometimes the way quilts are hung you can't get a perfect shot. BUT, we felt you had to see the creative quilting on this fun modern quilt we saw at Paducah 2017. This was entered in the "1st Entry in a Paducah Contest" section. It was quilted on a moveable machine using free-motion quilting, matchstick quilting, and machine piecing. Wonderful!

Teresa, this is beautiful. I've done some graffiti quilting but only on small work. Did you mark the triangles? Great to see it. Thanks!

Teresa, this is spectacular. I've tried my hand at graffiti quilting and find it to be so much fun. I've only done small pieces. Did you mark the quilt for the triangle shapes???

Gorgeous quilting!
I love that it's not all laid out in a perfectly balanced design.
It keeps the same elements throughout, but not in repetitive rows or mirrored designs.

The three triangle quilted areas and the pieced diamonds give it the balance and angularity, with the quilting in the "negative space" :) giving it the warmth and exquisite feel of a beautiful tapestry.

This is a amazing quilt. I love finding designs within the stitches such as the owl. I could study this quilt for hours.
