Yes, that is spelled correctly. If you are looking for quilt inspiration, just take a look around the Disney parks. You'll see what we mean by "grate."

For inspiration it is wonderful but even grate, fence and floor designs have copyrights.

That's so funny - I just spent 2 days in Disneyland Paris where I kept seeing things which made me think 'That could be in a quilt!'

Wow. I am taking a break from working and practicing with ruler quilting. What a perfect time to view this video! I am so inspired to try new designs now. I think I can incorporate some of these ideas by thinking outside the box. Thank you so, so much!

We traveled in Israel some years ago, and I saw quilt designs everywhere -- ancient tiled floors and streets, grates, a map of Jerusalem built into the wall of the old city, the fruit, bread or vegetable pyramids built daily by street vendors...such scope for the imagination, as Anne of Green Gables would say.

I take pictures of manhole covers and old floorgrates in old stores whoever we travel. Disney manhole covers are cool!qy34n
