If You Are Making the Halo Medallion BOM, Please Read This

For all of you making the Halo Medallion BOM, we have some new information regarding Month 6 from Carolyn Hock and Barbara Black.

Barbara and Carolyn have written a Supplement for Month 6 regarding some differences between the pattern and Carolyn's actual quilt. If you are making the quilt, you'll want to make sure you have the latest Month 6 pattern and that you read the Month 6 Supplement.

Here's the info from Barbara Black regarding "Fit to Page".

For printing out paper piecing patterns,

1) Make sure your printer is set for "ACTUAL SIZE" or "SCALE 100%" or 100%
2) Turn off SCALING to "NO SCALING" or "NONE"
3) Turn off "FIT TO FRAME" or "FIT TO PAGE"

If you are downloading any of the monthly patterns, you must make sure you are logged in as a Star Member. Otherwise you'll only be able to download the intro packet. If you are looking at the Month 6 update, it looks very similar to the original, the updated version has you cut 71 3" squares in red and white-on-white. Also, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page to see that you are downloading the proper files. There should always be a month number included in the title of the pdf file, e.g. bom_2017_6_upda te.pdf for Month 6.

I printed half square triangle paper foundations for Month 6 2017 BOM. Should they be printed to fit the page. There is a difference in sizes when you print "Fit to Page" rather that as printed in the instructions.
