Elizabeth Owens of Defuniak Springs, Florida created this 60" x 43" quilt, The Elephant in the Quilt Room, from the source: Erindi Game Preserve, Namibia, Africa. It was quilted on a stationary machine and included collage and free-motion quilting. We love the fabric choices, don't you?

Absolutely stunning! The fabrics and the textures make the elephant and the grass he's walking in seem real. I love the bunch of grass/hay in his trunk. Very well done on all levels.
