Tutorial: Make a Spring Collage Quilt

Join BERNINA Ambassador, Heidi Lund, and create a wonderful brightly colored spring collage quilt. Go through your fabric stash and pull out novelty fabrics with floral motifs that you like. Heidi put a little surprise in her quilt and added her favorite fish in complementary colors.

What a delightful way to use fabrics which you fell in love with at the time of purchase, but once they came home they fell out of favor. I found myself looking at my stash and making grand plans of my own. Thank you for the well written and photograph instructions. Can't wait to get started

So basically Broderie perse renamed.
While I do love applique I haven't tried the method, but know several people who have done magnificent quilts using it. One was a huge quilt, all hand done, and the person did a gorgeous job with it.
Can be quite lovely but not really my thing.
