Announcing the winners of the 2017 New Quilts from an Old Favorite contest at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. The theme this year was Flying Geese. The exhibit opens March 31st at the museum.

And guess what...a number of winners and finalists were TQS members (highlighted in Red). Congratulations everyone!

What a great display this will be! Congratulations to all the TQS winners. (shout out to Robin in Rockford!... I met you at QH on State and you lent me the horizontal thread holder before they could get one in for me. :) I love seeing your quilts accepted to the big time. You do wonderful work!)

Thank you for not putting these in a smile box, so we could view them leisurely and truly study and appreciate the wonderful workmanship. Nice to see TQS members being recognized for their magnificent work.
