They should be using therapeutic gloves. Their hands are going to be bad in a few decades. I know mine are after 30 years of sewing every day. I noticed they are all young, how long do they do this?? .

They are using a Tambour hook to do the embroidery. I studied at The House of Lesage for a year when I lived in France. Tambour hooking is the most challenging needlework I have ever done, because in working from the back, you are doing it blind.

I'd love to know what that little brass motorized-looki ng tool is. The others in the hoop work are tambour hooks
