An exquisitely-embroidered cloth of silver, found in Herefordshire, England, may be the remnants of a dress belonging to Queen Elizabeth I. Even as a transplanted Englishwoman enthralled by the Tudors, I cannot help but think that the Chinese and Japanese would argue about it being possibly the most important textile!
