I love the vintage machines light weights like the singer 301 slant doesn't have needle down nor threader but very solid and USA made 16 pounds with solid handle too

I am impressed just by the video and my friend's recommendation (she bought one).
The only thing I didn't see was the knee lift, which I use all the time. And, what about servicing? Does it need to go to the dealer where purchased?
I will have to investigate where to purchase one locally.

My Sparrow 25 arrived today and I can hardly believe the quality of this little machine. I am a Bernina/Janome gal and those of you that own these machine know how heavy they are. I just can't take them to guild or classes anymore.
I played all afternoon with this little machine and the more I sewed the better I like it. Please don't hesitate to buy one, you won't be sorry.

I have the Sparrow 25 and it's fantastic! I work for a new Fabric and sewing shop in Madison, CT (Cate's Sew Modern) and we are selling them! The 25 has almost 200 stitches, and with the memory feature, you can combine them and make your own designs (to a degree, it's not like a $10k machine, but has lots of different feet, easy self threading, up and down needle, all sorts of goodies which make it way cool for the price!

Alex, I love seeing your kitty, Sparrow, in your videos! I love her name too. (Sorry this has nothing to do with the machine you are featuring :(.

After some investigation - it is made in China for Brewer by a large company that makes many machines for many companies. I had never heard the name before and can't remember it. This machine has a one year warrantee by Brewer. For the price point it is rather incredible. It excites me to get new sewers into the fold ......

Who makes this little machine?

I have a Janome Magnolia 7330 which has the same features except that it has only 30 stitches rather than the 80 something you mentioned. I love it! And it's in the same price range as the Sparrow when on sale. A friend who sews dance regalia recommended it to me and I've never regretted the decision.

My Sparrow 20 arrived yesterday and I played and played and played. Alex is right I love his machine! It's going to be perfect for class! I don't want to bring my Bernina to the classes anymore as I tripped and broke the the handle. Thankfully that's all it was, but enough reason to have a machine that is lighter and much easier to carry. The Sparrow has a beautiful stitch and all the bells and whistles that I like for quilting! I look forward to many hours of sewing with this machine! :-)
