Interesting when the announcer said: "speaks well of YOU people" and continued to address these women as "girls." Hopefully, we have made progress on both of these fronts, as well as sewing and quilting in general.

Too funny. Although, I've always enjoyed making my own stuff. Hurray for Singer Featherweight machines. My's been hard at work since 1945.
