When we saw this hanging in the textile section of the Anthropologie store, we thought it looked like the softest thing ever...until we got a little bit closer....

It's not so soft...it's made out of clothespins!!! Do you think they have one in EVERY store?

wonder what the back looks like--what kind of base is used here. absolutely fabulous use of an ordinary utensil (if that's what you would classify a clothes pin as)..thanks for showing it

Our regional Anthropologie store has a paper quilt top hanging in the middle of the store.

It looks like the culture of El Anastui-- the fabulous African sculptor that makes textiles from whisky tops, bottle caps, & other throw-aways.

I am in awe. I can not even imagine dying and creating with that many clothes pins. Wonderful and so creative.
