Christina Tollman recently posted this note on Facebook. We were all touched by this wonderful tribute and can only hope we will be rememberd in such a wonderful way.

Yesterday we laid to rest an amazing and loving woman. My grandma was an avid quilter. This was our tribute to her at her funeral and it was quite breathtaking. All of these were made by her.

What a wonderful tribute. Just think of all the lives those hands have touched with her quilts. Reminds me of my mother's hands.

You probably made your grandmother so happy that you chose to honor her by sharing her gifts to your family made with all her love. She did a great job of teaching love to her next generations!

I have been telling my family/friends that this is what I want at my funeral for a few months now. I have given so many baby/wedding quilts and some of my family or friends have more than one. I have asked them to give me one BIG show and tell.
The funny part is that my quilt friends always say, "But I don't have one of your quilts to show!"

This is beautiful. We hung my mom's quilts at her funeral last year. It brought a beautiful piece of her life for all to see. I hope when my time comes, my girls will do the same for me and hang my quilts for all to see what my passion in life included.
