Make Do and Mend - Women in the War "Upcycle" their Husband's Clothes

This is a wonderful "war" film produced to encourage women to make do with what they had during WW II. One woman made a pretty spectacular "patchwork" coat.

I recently saw and episode of "Shark Tank," in which two women, military wifes, started a company selling purses made from their husband's clothes.
