Very disappointed! I clicked on the Learn More button, got directed to a Pocket Sense site but no information about tax credit for donated quilts came up. Actually, on that page nothing but a link to their "home" page came up.

Please be advised that this article is old, and doesn't include the DRASTICALLY increased threshold for itemizing and taking these deductions. The standard deduction for single filers under 65 is now $12000, and for married under 65 it is $24,000. Few filers are likely to meet these levels, especially since you are limited as to how much real estate taxes you may deduct. Check with your local tax advisor.
