  1. Clean and oil
  2. Thread the bobbin
  3. Attach a Straight Stitch Plate
  4. Insert a new needle
  5. Attach a Darning Foot
  6. Tape Down a Teflon Sheet
  7. Lower the Feed Dogs
  8. Set Needle Down Function
  9. Thread the top thread
  10. Stitch a sample
  11. Adjust tension

Such beautiful work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong - do I need to adjust the top tension down or up? My bobbin thread which is dark to blen into my backing fabric shows through to the top of my quilt which is mostly white. Pls help!

Thanks so much for the Free Motion Quilting Tutorials. They are wonderful and soooo inspirational. I can't wait to try some of these patterns. I have been free-motion quilting for a few years now and am always looking for more ideas.
