Christa Watson decided it was time to have a "real" design wall in her house, so she headed off to the home improvement store to see what she could find.  With just some foam core and a little ingenuity, she ended up with a "great wall" to call her own.

I have used these foam boards for several years now. Don't have a large wall to put them up permanently, but keep them in the garage and move them into the room when needed. They also work really well for blocking a quilt. Being portable, I use them for photographing also, as I can move them to the patio where I have good shaded outdoor light at certain times of the day.

I like using one big flannel sheet. I have two panels in my design room placed side by side they are each covered with felt in different colors

I did this 2 months ago and love it! I put the long end parallel and up to the ceiling, leaving enough space at the bottom so I can still use my electrical outlet.
