Laura from Sew Very Easy shows you a super simple way to English Paper Piece using pre-cut shapes and NO basting.  She also uses Quilters Select Appi-Stick to its full advantage.

If you paper punch a hole in the template you can use your chop stick to remove the template using the hole.

Fairbanks, you sew them together with a hand whipstitch with right sides together. there are English Paper Piecing books on Amazon or Ebay...

How many times may a template be used ? and
how do you store the templates so the do not stick together?

WOO-HOO!!!!!
I love hexies (and all it's friends) but doing all the basting or gluing is tiresome. The idea of using applistick is AWESOME!!!!

Brilliant! I've been using a glue pen instead of thread basting, but this looks even better, especially for large hexies. Then sew the pieces together by hand, as in traditional EPP.

How did you sew them together. With a zigzag stitch?
