Best of Show- Road to California 2016--Melissa Sobotka

Melissa Sobotka has won Best of Show again. Melissa won Best of Show in Houston 2013 and has now won Best of Show at Road to California 2016.

I too thought this was a photograph of quilted pillows. It took several times looking at it before I understood, this is a quilt. Simply awesome! I would like to know how she creates her quilts.

What an amazing quilt, will not look at pillow or pillow cases without thinking of this quilt. Would love to give it a try.

There are no words that would describe my thoughts when I saw this quilt! Then I thought how did she do that?
Like others have mentioned, I , too, would like to see a show, interview or something that would allow Melissa to describe how she did this quilt.

I still cannot believe this is a quilt. A show on how this quilt was actually constructed would be wonderful.

I saw this in person yesterday. It's mesmerizing and hard to believe it's made of fabric. So glad I was there to see it!

If you can get past the 30 people drooling and picking their jaws off the ground...you too can be astonished by the magnificence of this piece of art. I saw it hours after judging and I was speechless!!!!
