EARTH STORIES: 25th Anniversary Exhibition from Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA)

"Earth Stories" celebrates the stories of people and projects that enhance the planet, make a significant difference in restoring and/or protecting the environment, increase sustainability and otherwise improve the earth we all occupy.

The San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles and SAQA allowed us to photograph some of the quilts for our members to enjoy.

I truly enjoy the work of SAQA artists. The way they use fabric to convey messages is magical. In another recent blog post a show called "Fiber & Poetry" was featured. I was able to purchase the catalog for that exhibit - the images were absolutely incredible, and the works took 15 months to complete. These artists need the recognition that venues like The Quilt Show provide. THANK YOU TQS!
