Quilting inspires many different artists. Some are really different.

But how did it start? Who was his inspiration?

Although I very much dislike his taste I respect his talent and creativity. I find it fascinating that a young man with those tastes expresses himself with quilting! Refreshing, unique and always welcomed!

Wow, I love this and love his inspiration. I may be 62 years old, but he inspires me to be more adventuresome with my quilts. That's really more my style than "traditional" quilts. My grandson is an artist who aspires to be a tattoo artist. He does a lot of similar styles to Ben Venom. Perhaps Kam and I can collaborate with me quilting some of his designs.

How totally wonderful to see a young male quilter take on this traditional craft in his own unique way, especially being influenced by the Gee's Bend quilters.
