Listed below are the current exhibits at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. They run through July 5, 2015.
The mission of the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles is to promote and celebrate the art, creators, craft, and history of quilts and textiles. It is the first museum in the United States to focus exclusively on quilts and textiles as an art form. As with many museums, it depends on your support to keep its doors open. The museum is currently trying to raise $75,000 as part of its Spring Appeal. Help make a large impact in the quilt and textile community by donating now.
A Common Thread - the artwork of seventeen contemporary artists from across the United States who examine, and sometimes subvert, the centuries-old tradition of needlework.
Kawandi Adventure: Quilts by Margaret Fabrizio - View Margaret's Kawandi-style quilts made from scraps and recycled clothing she collected in India.
Bedouin Textiles from the Collection of Robert and Joy Totah Hilden - learn about the rich woven history of the Arab nomads who have inhabited the Arabian Peninsula and elsewhere for millennia.

Wednesday to Friday 12pm – 5pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am – 2:00pm; 2:30 – 5:00pm
First Friday of every month: Pay what you can 12 – 7pm and free 7pm – 9pm
(Except January and July)
The Museum is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and major holidays.
The Museum is closed on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 2:30pm for staff meal break.
