Diana is a ninth-grade Girl Scout who lives in North Carolina. She is currently working on the highest award in Scouting: the Gold Award, which requires the creation of a community service project that she plans and oversees. Diana was adopted from Russia in 2001, and now she is working to help children in the North Carolina foster program. She will be making a twin-size quilt for every year that she has been in the United States; they will be given to those who leave the foster program at the age of eighteen. She will also make ten baby quilts that will be donated to her orphanage in Russia. Follow her progress on Facebook here.
