We've been showing you all the wonderful quilts being created by some amazing artists that have been inspired by Libby Lehman. Now we thought we'd show you some of Libby's amazing quilts. While she was in Houston in the fall, Alex toured an exhibit of Libby's quilts with Libby's sister, Ellen, as her guide.

I "discovered" Libby a couple of years ago as I am a budding quilter. I was so devastated to learn about her health issues. Since then I've read just about everything I can find on her and her art. I love her. What a great video of her quilts. What an inspiration she is. I can only aspire to her talent.

I see such works of art as these quilts certainly are and become inspired to veer off the patterned path with color experimentation and free form. These quilts are beautiful--what an understatement! Such talent and vision.
