White Corded Quilting is the name of an exhibit that ran at the International Quilting Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska several years ago. Capt'n John had the opportunity to go backstage and see one of the favorite quilts of Carolyn Ducey, Phd.

Take a look. Even "grocery baggers" will love this quilt (you'll have to watch to get the reference).

What is amazing is that it was hand-stitched. Something I have never been able to accomplish. Wonderful video.

The Poos Collection has quite a few of these quilts. Great to see this featured. Coincidentally, I had posted a great video on how the stuffed work is done on my Facebook page yesterday.

Very interesting! The quilt was amazing and the story was fascinating. I hope we will be seeing more information on this site about the history of quilts.

:D This is amazing! I can't imagine how it was made if it was not stuffed! Thank you so much for bringing it to us!

wonderful, I am not able to do such a marvellous work. I had an ancient French friend who did this sort of magnificence. In France we call it " BOUTIS" and it is a speciality of PROVENCE ( South of France). THank you to have shown us this " chef d'œuvre"
