Update: Look who turned in his quilt and it's a beauty! It's Ricky's Sentinels at Sunset II: Someone to Watch Over Me.
Artist Statement: As sunset moves to twilight and then to darkness, vigilant sentinels stand guard.
Dedication: Throughout 2012 my 85 year old father's memory loss has progressed significantly. I dedicate this quilt to him and to my mother who keeps watch over him.
Twelve world renowned quilters have each donated a 16" x 16" wall quilt for an online auction benefiting the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI). The auction will be held during November 1-10.
Participating in the Celebrity Invitational Quilt Auction are Alex Anderson, Hollis Chatelain, Caryl Bryer Fallert, John Flynn, Diane Gaudynski, Becky Goldsmith, Pat Holly, Libby Lehman, Marsha McCloskey, Sue Nickels. Mary Sorensen, and Ricky Tims.
