3088_img_0157.jpgMemory quilts have been around for a very long time. Whether it was to commemorate a marriage or a baby, quilters have wanted to send good wishes through their quilts.

Have you ever made a "signature" quilt. Was it a group effort where you sent blocks around the country and had them signed by all the relatives? Did you hand blocks out at a wedding and have the guests sign them? What pattern did you use when you put the blocks together? Did you include photos?  Submit a comment and share your signature with TQS.

(Quilt:  Baby Crackers from Alex Anderson's  Baby Quilts with Love.)
