I just made about 20 of a similar pad folio for Christmas gifts. Mine was the first, the "test run", i use it all the time and love it. I didn't have a picket on the outside and I made the flap pointed like and envelope, and then used a velcro dot for a closure. Each one I made had fabric chosen for the individual.
