It is the third week of the The Alliance for American Quilts auction on Ebay. All proceeds from the sales of these quilts goes to support the AAQ and its projects, including Quilter's S.O.S. - Save our Stories and the Quilt Index.

Each quilt is 16" x 16" and reflects the theme, Alliances: People, Patterns, Passion which celebrates cooperative relationships that work toward a common goal.

This week a number of TQS Members have a quilt up for auction.  Here are some of their quilts.

On the left from Michael Michalski (BKLYNMIKE) is Kusudama.  On the right from Dana Lynch (DLQUILTER) is Pathways of Opportunity.

This year the TQS Dinner in Houston was held at the Don Patron Bar and Grill.  Over sixty TQS members showed up to celebrate with friends.  Carol Moellers was kind enough to share pictures of the evening, with guest appearances from Margo's thank you quilt, a Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles sorting hat, and even a few gentlemen along for a good time.  They all had so much fun, a TQS convention might be in order for next year. What do you think?
