Just kidding (no we didn't do this!)- thanks to the entire crew of TQS, you rock! Each show was a jewel and they could not have been done with out ALL of you!
This is not exactly presented in a timely fashion (Internet woes) but on the eve of coming to Boulder I got a box from our TQS shoppe - and WOW! Pati put together yet another winner of a quilt kit. It is a copy of my latest quilt for P&B Textiles with my new line Aways and Forever - Check it out. You can whip it out on your machine or stitch the butterflies by hand, the choice is yours, I whipped mine out by machine.
We recently received an encouraging letter. We love to see members stretching their quilting wings.
"Dear Ricky,
I entered this piece of work into the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham.
I received a Highly Commended as it is free machined, straight zig zag satin stitched.
The whole thing, apart from construction, was made with the feed dogs down. Please thank Bob & Heather for their thread and needle advice. I used a lot of Superior threads in this.
I also used a lot of tips from you and Alex and the Guests.
Your show just gets better and better.
Love to all-- Pauline Barnes (grinly)"

Don't let a great opportunity to share your work pass you by. Next year's Road 2 California show will be held January 14-17, 2010, at the Ontario Convention Center, Ontario, CA, and TQS will have a special exhibit of member quilts featured at the event! We truly are blessed with the talent of our members from around the globe, and our goal is to showcase this amazing talent for the thousands of attendees at this popular West Coast venue. The TQS exhibit, titled "A Twist On Tradition," will feature twenty original quilts based on traditional patterns or designs.
