Welcome back quilt campers.  Do you need a quick and easy gift for a toddler?  You are sure to love this Make it Monday project that is a quilt AND a game.  TQS member Margo designed this quilt that also can be used to play the always popular bean bag game.  Large squares of age appropriate prints are the targets for the coordinating bean bags.  Margo has even included a 'toe the line' tube to keep things fair.  For the pattern visit our Projects page here.

Be sure to check out each week's project on the Projects page here.  Share your creative version in Show and Tell here.

Have you been astounded, floored, or just loved one of the Quilt-of-the-Day Quilts? Well, let the quiltmaker know. Just click on the artist's name, in this case, Kcsartstudio13, and you will be sent to their profile.  From there you can view their other quilts, learn a little bit about them, and send them a message to tell them how much you love their quilt.   Just type your message in the message box and then click submit.

If you click on the QUILT GALLERY button, you will be taken to the TQS Member Quilt Gallery where an astounding array of over 15,000 quilts is there for your viewing pleasure.

And, if you still haven't added your quilts to the gallery, just click on Add a Quilt Now button while you are in the Gallery and you'll be taken to your profile, where you can upload pictures of your latest quilt.

It's simple and fun and we all want to see YOUR quilts!

It's not every day that you have the opportunity to see the incredibly detailed and finely embroidered Kantha quilts constructed by the women of Bengal using fabric remnants recycled from worn clothing. If you live in or will be visiting the Philadelphia area this spring or early summer, however, that opportunity will be right at your doorstep. An exhibition of these amazing textiles is on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, now through July 25. To learn more, click here. Along with scraps of fabric, these industrious women used threads taken from worn- out saris to embroider pieced foundations with lavish scenes depicting animals, lush gardens, and various gods and goddesses. The art form was passed from mother to daughter, and transformed even everyday objects into beautiful works of art.

Over the life of this site we have found that many quilters are claiming their own computer in their own space - thus begging the question, if we were to visit you - where would we find your computer and would there be more than one?
