This year, we started a program for you to practice techniques featured on our weekly shows. For each show, we provide an 8" finished block so that you can try out the featured artist's technique. We recommended that you create a notebook for the practice projects, or save them to stitch into a wonderful sampler of your learning journey. We called this program Little Scraps of Magic, but unfortunately, many viewers didn't really understand what this fun and instructive program is all about.
So...we've renamed LSofM with a less catch, but more "accurate" name: TQS Show Techniques. We invite you to join us, make the simple projects, and share your results with others on the site. This week, we're featuring our "Hexie Block," which allows you to try your hand at creating interesting secondary patterns with your hexies by fussy-cutting.
