Kristi challenged herself to make this quilt and it paid off. Awaken Spring won 2nd Place, Traditional, Wall, Applique at Road to California 2013.

Here's her Artist's Statement: Awaken, Spring began the same way they all do, "you can't make that." I needed to prove I could. I could make it better, stronger, faster. I designed and rearranged much of this quilt to make it as original as i could. I hope y'all enjoy my version of reveille for Spring.
