You'll find the magic of embroidered faeries in Judith Woodworth's whimsical quilt. This quilt was the winner of 2nd Place: Innovative, Wall, Pieced, Road to California 2013.
Artist's Statement:
I wanted to create a star where my fairies could live with windows into the real world. It has embroidered fairies that sprinkle fairy dust to grant wishes. The curved piecing star weaves over and under the star points. I used Legacy 80/20 batting plus wool batting, and mostly Glide thread.
