Meredith, along with her husband Bill, founded the American Quilter's Society with a vision of promoting the accomplishments of today's quilters on a national and international scale.
Meredith is also a founder of the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY. It is the world's largest and most prestigious museum devoted to quilts and fiber art.
