Vases, Birds, and Other Things, created by Kim McLean and quilted by Kay Fernihough, was on exhibit as part of theBaltimore Album Review II: Baltimore's Daughters -- Friends Stitch Past to Future at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2010. It is unusual, not in what is represented, but in Kim's selection of fabrics which reflect today's colors and contemporary patterns, particularly Kaaffe Fasset.
