Quilters have amazing hearts. I personally have witnessed several occasions of outpouring compassion, from hearts that I received while going through a tragedy of my own, blocks coming together for quilt for one of our own members that truly needed some strength and love during a trying time, and to a patriotic example of pride for a few soldiers. Now that this challenge has started quilters have come together again to amaze and make me proud to witness the passion first hand.
We are at the halfway point of this challenge or are we? Who knows where this may lead. Several months have passed and we have some beautiful examples of these quilter’s hearts and I would love to share them with you. So, far we have 63 made and 15 bought quilts for AAQI (The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative). We would love to have you on board. For now, enjoy the quilt show. I couldn’t resist.
