This star quilt is done in jewel colors with a white background rather than black.  Alex´s friend, Kris Volker, quilted it and added the perle cotton fringe to the cactus.  I like the use of the Cactus fabric because the stars look sharp as thorns.  This is from Alex´s book "Simply Stars".
