QuiltCon, presented by the Modern Quilt Guild, is announcing its return to the Austin Convention Center, February 19-22, 2015. This show is an unrivaled international conference and show for modern quilters. It includes a juried modern quilt show with cash prizes, vendors, demos, lectures and workshops from the best modern quilters, and more.
For 2015, they have nearly doubled their space and are offering a larger exhibition of quilts, vendor and workshop space. They are projected to host 10,000 attendees from around the world.
Workshops, lectures, and panels will include the quilters of Gee's Bend, Maura Ambrose, Bill Kerr, Elizabeth Hartman, Weeks Ringle, Angela Walters, Denyse Schmidt and many more.
Over 100 vendors and exhibitors will offer conference and show attendees a unique shopping experience geared toward the interests and tastes of modern quilters.
Member registration opens June 24, 2014 and general public registration opens on July 1, 2014.
