Saturday was a "good" day for Libby in the fact that the swelling of her brain was reduced and she was more stable.

The not so good news is that, while she is in a sedated comatose state, they doctors were able to determine that the stroke on Friday was "massive" and that her left side is paralyzed. Libby is left-handed.

They say her vital signs are good but she remains on a feeding and breathing tube. They are slowly reducing the sedatives do that she can hopefully awaken in the next few days.

She is far from "out of the woods" and remains in "critical" condition with nurses monitoring her around the clock.

There an be no predictions for her recovery or her quality of life after lengthy therapy. Lester (husband), Les (son), and her sisters are "devastated" but doing their best to remain strong. You thoughts and prayer for them too are appreciated.
