Would you like to create quilts that combine free form curves along with traditional blocks? How about quilt blocks that require no pins or intersections to match? Why not join us on Thursday, February 28 at 5:00pm Pacific/8:00pm Eastern when our own TQS member Peggy Barkle will be our special guest in chat room "Featured Guest". Peggy's new book Blendable Curves allows you to create a stunning and fun quilt in a weekend using these easy techniques.

Peggy was born in Seattle, Washington, but she considers herself a Northern California girl having spent most of her life in the Sunshine state. After marriage followed a set of twins that kept her busy with the usual duties of cleaning, diapering and cooking. While looking for an "adult" escape, Peggy discovered quilting with Eleanor Burns on PBS. And the rest, as they say, is history.

"We moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1995, after a brief stay in Arkansas. The kids are grown now and, fortunately, so has my 'stash'. Quilting has kept me sane, and my family safe all these years. I have a room full of yardage and brain full of ideas. I could not imagine doing anything else with my life, and being able to share what I love has been an unbelievable blessing."
