We expected a flurry of quilt postings, but I just wanna say, "WHY HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING THIS WONDERFUL WORK?" I'm just blown away by all the great quilts that are being posted - and the stories behind them. And - to finally see your faces - it's just so great and personal. I love the diversity of quilts - some simple - some complex, some that are beginners (way to go!) some that are for utility and others used for art. It's all good! Thanks.
For those of you who may not know how to use the search feature, it's time to learn so that you don't have to go through all the quilts one at a time. Click on Search>Find a Quilt and enter in a field or two, such as a state, a country, or a style, -or evern a pattern. One field will narrow the thousands down to only those that meet the criteria. For example, enter Canada, then scroll down and tick Construction Method: Applique - and you'll see only quilts from Canada that are Applique quilts!
Don't forget to submit an email to those whose quilts you admire. You never know when your comment will brighten an otherwise dreary day for someone.
Finally, has anyone started a e-penpal relationship as a result of this site?
